Description

A delicious blend of crisp cucumbers and soothing lavender buds for a perfect cooler on a hot summer day.

Ingredients

Scale

1 small cucumber

1 tsp of dried lavender buds (crushed)

2 quarts of filtered or spring water

ice

Instructions

Place crushed lavender buds in the water for approximately 4 hours and strain. Fill the glass with ice and add the sliced cucumber rounds cut 1 inch thick. Pour the lavender-infused water over the top and enjoy.

Notes

You can customize the strength of the lavender flavor by adjusting the amount of dried flowers used.  Not interested in a cold drink?  Boil water and place 4 teaspoons of fresh lavender buds in strainer or tea ball and seep for 4-5 minutes. For extra goodness, add a touch of honey.
